A New York native, Patricia Horwell is a journalist who has spent the last 20 years writing about and photographing Sarasota and environs. As a marketing and public relations professional she has worked in the nonprofit and for-profit arenas and has served on marketing and public relations advisory committees for the area tourist board. Her services include editing, pitching story ideas to the media, press releases, content creation, blogging, publicizing and coordinating events, designing brochures and other print collateral, and photography.
